Re: engaging the rear from front?

I've just had a thought on this, having just got my copy of Frostgrave . In Frostgrave, if a model moves within 1" of an enemy, that enemy gets a chance to "Force Combat" by forcing the model moving past to engage, and I thought that was a really nice way of dealing with it, and could apply to the s...

Re: Marksman skill

Hi Yuma, The way I read it, since everything seems to be going through the initiating model (it mentions the situation regarding the initiating model having Sharp Eyed), I would say it only matters if the initiating model has Marksman, if one of the others has it, I personally wouldn't say it counte...

Re: Rage of Sigvard -A beginner friendly warband

I'll need a day or two to figure it out, but what I'd suggest is making 2 warbands that are reasonably evenly matched, but employ different styles/individual model builds, to give newcomers a chance to play 2 different styles, and would give ideas of different ways of achieving in-game aims (and hop...

Re: Defenders of the Lothlond Falas

i still feel cheesy to give all of them bows, but thats what they have. No problem with bow-wielding elves! Gotta stay true to Tolkein's reinvention of them! :D Loving these builds, think you've got the statlines/skills spot on for WH-style elves, would be interesting to see how they get on with su...

Re: Fighting Fantasy - The Demonic Three

"30pcs of 5p models" You ever read the Edge Chronicles books by Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell? ( Beyond the Deepwoods , Stormchaser , etc.) there's an animal involved called a Wig-wig: it's essentially a ball of orange fluff with huge jaws - they hop along in great masses and devour everything: http...

Re: Fighting Fantasy - The Demonic Three

Cheers, good to hear someone else's thoughts. One thing I'd point out is that for a Swarm list to work they need to be at least ATK 1 otherwise they cannot declare an attack action, DEF 0 is fine, though, and something I've been thinking of myself for a seriously big swarm list (I'm talking 30 model...
